Alexis Bonte becomes an angel investor of Whyttest, a Romanian company that is focused on video games and software testing.

Whyttest is a Romanian videogame and software testing company and has, starting this year, a new investor. Alexis Bonte, one of the most prolific investors in Romanian start-ups trusts the professionalism and the potential that Whyttest’s team has.

With a fiscal value of over 800.000 EUR in 2016, Whyttest was founded in 2014 by Marius Potirniche, following a 100.000 euros investment over 3 years. The company is formed of over 60 Quality Assurance (QA) professionals and has in its portfolio of clients both local game developing companies, as well as international ones.

“I have known Marius from the time when he was managing our studio in Bucharest (eRepublik Labs). I wanted to work with him because of his organizational talent and the fact that he is a born team-builder, qualities that are essential for a company leader. The moment he decided to found Whyttest, I was convinced that he would do an excellent job. The team he built and the services that he is offering have exceeded my expectations. The experience and entrepreneurial intuition are visible in the evolution of Whyttest, a company that focuses on a field that Marius knows very well: QA – video games and software testing.”, Alexis Bonte said.

Alexis Bonte is the co-founder and executive director of eRepublik Labs – a company that develops video games. Furthermore, he is an XiR and senior advisor of Atomico, offering advice regarding its investments in France, Spain, Portugal and the video games vertical. Alexis is also the non-executive president of the video and musical entertainment community Trilulilu and of music streaming service Zonga.fm. Alexis is also an investor in  Jampp, a publicity platform for mobile applications and has numerous other Angel investments, especially in Europe. Before eRepublik Labs, Alexis collaborated with lastminute.com for six years, first as a business development director (Great Britain), then as a marketing and sales director (France), and subsequently, as a General Director (Italy). His investments and presence in the digital industry are significant, being a co-founder of Chamberi Valley, a digital entrepreneurial association in Spain and one of the key people behind the iN3Spain conferences, in 2015 and 2016. In 2012, Bonte was acknowledged as a YGL (Young Global Leader) by the Economical World Forum in Davos.

“Alexis’s decision to invest in Whyttest is a joy and a recognition of the way we evolved in these first three years. The time spent alongside him was an extraordinary school for me and I am certain that together we will find new ideas to grow this business on a local and regional market, with a huge potential. We have the best team, we have the advantage to work for challenging clients and I am sure that Whyttest is the most efficient solution for game and software developing companies that search for testing services of the highest quality.”, said Marius Potirniche, founder of Whyttest”

Whyttest offers a very well structured testing process, starting from a pre-alpha build and to the final product that reaches the market, through better cost management and workforce allocated specially for the time  period that is necessary to the end of the project.
